That's the most common question I'm asked by people who want to help
our wounded troops and their families. Many feel that while they can
send money to organizations which make a difference, sometimes it seems
impersonal and they would rather do something more tangible, something
that offers a direct connection to the service member/family member.
But as many soon discover, unless you live near a military installation
or a military hospital, there aren't many opportunities for direct
access to those you want to reach.
